My name is Jackie Bourne.  I have always been creative, and stitch is where I found my happy place.  I live near the Coast in Devon, and my local area gives me all the inspiration I need.

I create pictures using free motion machine embroidery. I go out and  take photographs of things that inspire me, and use these as my starting point.  I use my machine like a pencil to draw a picture, which I then paint, and finally, fill with vibrant free motion stitching.  My recent obsession has been with the beautiful variety of pebbles on my local beach.  There are endless possibilities with the pictures I take!

My original pieces of work take many hours to complete.  They all have a pretty bound edge and are ready for mounting in your choice of frame.
